Data processed

Contact form: name, email, company, topic, budget and message. Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type.

Consent choice: a random identifier, your choice, the date and the policy version (no IP address). If you accept measurement: anonymised visit statistics.

Purpose and retention

Contact data is used only to reply to your request and is deleted after 24 months. Server logs are kept for security and operation, and are rotated and deleted automatically after a short period. Legal bases: your request (contact) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (logs).

Consent records are kept for 3 years as proof. Legal basis for measurement: your consent.

Recipients

BrainKode's email provider and hosting provider, bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. No data is sold or used for advertising. Hosting and processing take place in Switzerland or the EU/EEA; if data is ever transferred elsewhere, this is done with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

No tracking cookies. The site only remembers your language (cookie "bk_lang") and your light/dark theme in your browser.

If you accept it in the consent banner, site traffic is measured with Matomo. You can change this choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time ("Cookie preferences" in the footer) by writing to info@brainkode.com. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.
